Introductory speech at 8:30am. Introduction to guests and faculties.

1. Lectures (9 am to 9:50 am)

10 min pre-test

1. Physics (Dr. Fuad)
2. Knobology and machine optimization (Dr. Hasibul)
3. US features of normal tissue (Dr. Kamrul)
4. US guided needle insertion technique (Dr. Bakul)
5. Neuromuscular ultrasound session (10:00 am to 10:40am)

Dr. Abdallah El-Sayed Allam (scanning of upper limb nerves)

(He is internationally famous for neuromuscular ultrasound).

1. USG scanning and intervention techniques: 10:40am to 12:40pm

(N.B. On human model, probe and needle positioning, each session 20 min)

• L/S= Session 1 (Lumbar spine & buttock): Caudal epidural, piriformis, sacro-iliac joint. (Dr. Abdallah Allam + Dr. Zahangir)
• C/S = Session 2 (Cervical spine): neck sonoanatomy and interventions (Dr. Moin + Dr. Hasibul).

Tea break (15 min)

• S= Session 3 (shoulder): shoulder sono-anatomy + intervention technique (Dr. Milton + Dr. Fuad)
• W= Session 4 (wrist & elbow): anterior and lateral wrist; Lateral elbow. (Dr. Monzur + Dr. Bakul)
• K= Session 5 (knee & hip): Knee sono-anatomy with interventions (Dr. Chandra+ Dr. Kamrul)

1. Hands on feedback (each station 20 min): 12:40pm to 2:20pm.

5 stations, in rotations. Participants will get chances to place the probe by themselves on human model and learn exact needle placement location. Guides will help them.

Lunch and prayer break: 2:20 pm to 3 pm.

10 min post-test 

1. Demonstration of interventions (3pm to 5 pm).

Interventions on real patients will be performed (3pm to 5:00 pm)

1. US machine exhibition and knobology discussion
2. Cultural (music) program: 7:00 pm

Certificate giving and photo session.

1. President’s dinner: 8:00 pm (Ending)
